This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 659x423 and weights 54KB. |

(3) To change the language go to the installation directory of the newly installed Onda Device Manager and open the file called "setting.ini" using a text editor.

(4) Change the last line to you're native language ( in the sub folder "Language" there are several languages to choose from ).

(5) Re-start to check everything was accepted.
Installing The DriversIf you run in to difficulty then it is more than likely that the correct drivers are not installed.
The only way to install them correctly is through the New Hardware Wizard which will pop up if new hardware is found and Windows does not have a driver listed for it.
If you do not receive the new hardware found but yet the process fails due to the Rock USB Device not found then you will need to try different ways to remove and install the correct driver.

(1) Choose not to connect to the internet.

(2) Select the second option "install from a specific location" and click "Next".

(3) Select "search for the best driver in these locations" and the second box to "Include this location in the search" then browse to the sub folder of the Onda Device Manager called "Rk27 Driver" .
Click "Next".

(4) After the Wizard has copied some information it will ask you for the location of the driver "rockusb27.sys" which is in the same folder as before, click on browse to make sure that the exact location is entered. ( the image shows that the suggested location was wrong/incomplete ).

(5) After clicking next you will see the following image telling you that the hardware was installed correctly.

The next few images show the final steps of the upgrade.

Hidden Firmware Partition(1) Firstly you will need the rkusb.tag from the tools section above.
(2) Now copy the rkusb.tag file to the root of the player.
( the root is the space before the folders )

(3) Once the file transfer is complete, disconnect the usb cable and switch the player off.
(4) With the player still switched off, plug the usb cable back in and wait for the computer to recognise the new third removable disk ( hidden firmware partition ).
